Remember what a great time you had at your doula training? It wasn't just me, it was the people who were there with you that made it wonderful! No matter what group you were in, they had such a variety of skills and life experiences.
I'm offering two opportunities for us to gather again and share our wisdom with one another in two structured Doulaing The Doula Mastermind sessions!
FREE! At no cost to you!
The question for the Mastermind is:
"What problem or challenge
are you having right now that
you want feedback from doulas about?"
It doesn't have to be business, it could be client centered, or even a personal challenge related to birth work. The only criteria is that doulas (and myself) are the best group to offer feedback and insight for your problem.
Session One: Wednesday, April 1stat 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Session Two: Thursday, April 2nd at 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Both sessions are limited to
ten participants. You can sign up
here!
When you sign up, you'll need to provide your name, email, web site and business social media. These will be shared with the rest of the group ahead of time so they can get a sense of your online persona (if you have one) before listening to you.
Requirements:
Uninterrupted time during the session (quiet babe feeding/cuddling is fine);
your focused attention during our time together;
a quiet room with little background noise;
a camera, microphone and speaker that work well enough;
willingness to set up a free account with Zoom at least 2 hours before the session;
good enough internet reception,
and a beverage of your choice!
What happens during a DTD Mastermind?
Introductions - 10 minutes, 1 minute each
Present Problem/Receive Feedback Cycle for Each Person: 90 minutes
3 minutes to share; 6 minutes for feedback from the rest of the group
Two or more people serve as notetakers so the presenter can focus on listening. One person serves as timekeeper. The roles rotate.
(5 minute break halfway)
5-10 minutes: Finalize notes and email to person. Receive and read notes.
10 minutes Open or Facilitated Discussion:
What themes did we have in common?
What did you notice about how the conversations went?
What clarification do you need now that you looked at your notes or digested the feedback that you received?
I hope you will join me next week! I'm thinking about you and hoping you are all finding unexpected ways to thrive during this reality we are all collectively sharing.
