Doulaland:
Whew! Winter's inward period here in the northern hemisphere has resulted in a lot of growth here at Doulaing The Doula. Along with 2017's new continuing education workshops, I've got one debuting next month called, "Sexual Anatomy with Dr. Amy". In this fun interactive session, we'll focus on pelvic anatomy
and sexuality as it relates to our roles as perinatal professionals working with parents. It's a great companion to "From Lovers to Parents And Back Again" my research session on perinatal sexuality.
We're in the final stages of a brand new web site at www.amygilliland.com, combining the blog and professional
sites into one with all new features and resources.
We're preparing a new book for publication which we hope to launch before America's Mother's Day, which is also International Doula month in May!
And who is the "we" I'm talking
about? I've hired several new assistants to help me keep DTD and all my research studies going. I could not make all this happen by myself! Introductions are forthcoming in a future postcard.
For now, I hope the seeds you harvested last year have been planted and are starting to surge up through the soil. For those of you in
the southern areas of our planet, may your harvest season be plentiful.
