Dear Readers, 

I started tweeting yesterday about changes in how labor arrest is defined and guidelines for labor progress. For you old timers out there, that means we finally dumped Friedman's Curve.  Yay!!! However, I'm not happy that people are now "arrested" in labor rather than experiencing dystocia.  You'd think smart people could find a better word than one that is as emotionally loaded as "arrested". 
Today is a full day of conference sessions and tomorrow is half day.  You can follow me as I LIVE Tweet with photos at the Wisconsin Association for Perinatal Care Conference, held this year in Wisconsin Dells.  WAPC is a leader in the U.S. in statewide perinatal organization that works to influence providers to follow best practices. www.perinatalweb.org for more information.
